PRE-VENTATIVE CARE, SERVICE & BREAKDOWN

As with any electro-mechanical components regular servicing and adequate breakdown cover are essential to ensure your entrance system remains fully functional. The Prevent service and breakdown contract allows you to tailor your breakdown cover and service intervals according to budget, usage or other specific requirement. All Prefit Prematic products carry a one year warranty from date of installation, which means in the rare event that a problem occurs you are covered. However this does not apply to misuse, vandalism accidental damage etc and therefore we believe peace of mind and the assurance you are covered in any eventuality is paramount. As we are approved and governed by the ADSA (Automated Door Suppliers Association) it is our duty to point out that the Automated doors must be installed and maintained to BS 7036 and any work carried out must be through a recognised ADSA member. Our service visits will ensure any adjustments are made such as closing/opening speeds, sensor reactivity, backcheck and latching, removal of the pelmet for check and clean. We will consult with you making your choice of cover simple and easy and realistic to budget. As an example a simple one off service can start from as little as £500 excluding VAT and replacement parts.

Should you choose not to enter into a Service agreement rest assured, Prevent also offer a 24/7 emergency call out service in the event of rapid response breakdown assistance is required. Please note we can service, repair and replace virtually any manufacturers products. This type of response is charged at an hourly rate and call out charges will vary according to time, location and date.
